Once called “too fat” by a Pop Idol judge but rather popular with fans, contestant Rik–who left the show because of a throat infection–could release his first single within the next month. Signing a contract now would violate his contract with the show, but his agent says the contract “is invalid,” and they plan “to ignore it.”
