Jeff Probst revealed the long-awaited surprise on Survivor Africa, and it did not involve splitting the two tribes into three, as was rumored. Instead, each tribe unknowingly selected their three “best” members who immediately became members of the opposite tribe. Frank and Teresa escaped certain doom as they left Samburu along with Silas for Boran, while Boran’s Kelly, Tom and Lex became the newest members of Samburu. The new, stronger Boran won the reward challenge but later lost immunity, and unanimously voted off Silas at Tribal Council.
