Saying police had enough evidence to arrest him, federal judge dismissed the false arrest part of Richard Hatch’s suit against Middletown, Rhode Island, police. His privacy invasion claim will go forward, however; Rich says “his privacy was violated when Middletown police released the boy’s statement and Hatch’s mug shot to the National Enquirer,” according to Zap2it.com.
