UK Popstars selects its group.
Three women and two men have been selected as the group from the UK’s Popstars. Similar to boy band dissing of the U.S.’ O-Town, the group and show have received criticism: Spice Girl Melanie C “accus[ed] the creators of exploitation,” the BBC reports. The currently nameless group will release its first single next month.
