Lou and the O-Town boys can celebrate tonight: Over 42,000 Liquid Dreams CDs and cassettes were sold last week, landing the single in the number one spot on the singles chart. That’s the first time “a new artist has entered the singles chart at No. 1,” Inside.com reports. It’s also the first time a record from a new label–Clive Davis’ J Records–has landed at number one.
