Damon, Affleck helm Project Greenlight.
The Academy Award-winning pair responsible for Good Will Hunting is teaming up for Project Greenlight, which is now being advertised in magazines like Entertainment Weekly. One lucky aspiring filmmaker will have his or her script selected, be given a budget of $1 million, and have the resulting film distributed by Mirimax. The whole process will be documented, of course, and the reality TV show will air on HBO. Anyone can have a script considered; applications are being accepted now through Oct. 22 at projectgreenlight.com.
