It’s not exactly typical 2000 reality TV, but because it features non-actors, critics are lumping in Court TV’s show Confessions into the reality TV genre. And they’re not happy: AP says some are calling the show, which features recordings of real-life confessions by criminals, “twisted television that is nothing more than a lurid grab for ratings.”
