Real World nominated for an Emmy.
The Real World: Hawaii has been nominated for an Emmy in the “achievement in nonfiction programming–picture editing” category (#79 on the list of nominations). The nod is for episode 812, which involves the first half of the Ruthie intervention drama. The Ruthie-centric episode faces off against the Discovery Channel’s Raising the Mammoth and Walking with Dinosaurs, among other programs. The award show will be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 10.
